CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 4 OPERATION SPECTRE RISING ROLLED OUT APRIL 30 (Today)


Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Spectre (Treyarch) has announced the next operation for Black Ops 4, rolling out today on PS4, with new modes, weapons, maps, and Spectre Specialist.

Game-play



Operation Spectre Rising adds a bundle of new content to all parts of the game – Multiplayer gets a new Specialist, Blackout’s main map mention some big changes, Zombies gets a new mode, and many more. Those who purchased the paid season pass also get three new maps, and, of course, there’s a ton of new cosmetics to earn and buy.

According to Treyarch’s description of the new operative, “Spectres background is still shrouded in mystery, but the same deadly, cold, and strategic killer has now arrived in Black Ops 4. Spectre’s Special Issue Equipment is the Smoke grenade, the perfect accessory for stealth kills when you are able to see enemies through the haze. Additionally, Spectres Special Issue Weaponry is the Shadow Blade: when it’s activated, Spectre switches to third-person for complete field-of-view of nearby enemies. While wielding the blade, Spectre can roll and dodge to avoid incoming bullets and eliminate opponents with a single swipe. Spectre is available at Tier 1 of the Operation, and once unlocked, will be playable in Multi-player and Blackout.”

A pretty solid collection of new stuff! Treyarch recently released the separate Alcatraz map for Blackout, but it’s good to see they’re still updating the original map. Spectre also seems like he’ll be a solid attrition to multiplayer.

Bethesda at E3 2019: Deathloop and Ghostwire announcements and more
